Prospective tenants should review the Eligibility for application deadlines.

When there are more applicants than units available, offers will be determined based on a computer-generated random number. Each applicant is assigned a number and offers will made to the students with the lowest ranking number. If a student does not accept the offer, the next applicant number will be offered until the units are accepted.

Congratulations on being offered an apartment at University Apartments! Communication with the Rental Office is crucial to finalize your rental agreement before move-in day.

Step 1

If you are offered an apartment at Western Apartments the Rental Office will contact you to accept your offer (offers will be made to your official Western email address). Offers will include a deadline to respond, typically 5 days, if you do not accept within the timeline, our office will move onto the next applicant.

Step 2

Sign your lease agreement. Signatures and initials from all students named on the application are required on both copies of the lease. Students can sign in person at the Rental Office or by scanning the signed copy back to the rental office. Acceptance of an offer is binding for 12 months.

Step 3

Prior to the start of your lease - Applicants must pay the First Month's Rent.
