IMPORTANT REMINDERS
Parking Pass Reminder
Please check the expiry date on your parking pass and submit a renewal application before it expires.
Western Apartments does not track individual vehicles, parking permits or unit assignments. It is each tenant's responsibility to keep their parking pass valid and renew it when required. Vehicles without a valid permit may be subject to parking enforcement.
Garbage in the Community
Enviro Bins are for household garbage and recycling only.
Please do not place furniture, mattresses, appliances or other bulky items in or beside the bins. These items should be taken to a City of London EnviroDepot for proper disposal.
If the bins are full, please do not leave items beside them. The bins are emptied and cleaned daily, and garbage left outside can attract pests.
Before You Head Out
Going away this summer? A few simple steps can help keep your home safe, prevent maintenance issues and reduce energy use while you’re gone:
- Lock doors and close windows
- Close curtains or blinds
- Turn off lights and taps
- Unplug electronics and small appliances
- Take out your garbage and recycling
- Set your thermostat to a moderate temperature
TENANT TIPS & RESOURCES
Construction Update: Western & Sarnia Rd
Construction is underway near Western Road and Sarnia Road as part of the City of London's Western Road/Philip Aziz Avenue Corridor and Intersection Improvements Project. Work will continue through summer 2027 and may cause traffic impacts and lane restrictions during various stages of the project.
Allow extra travel time and follow all posted signs and detours. Visit the City of London's project page for the latest construction updates.
Line-Drying Clothes: What You Need to Know
We're happy to see many residents choosing to air-dry their laundry as an energy-saving option. If you air-dry clothing, please use a freestanding drying rack inside your unit or on your balcony. Clothing must not be hung over balcony railings or placed in shared outdoor spaces.
Platt’s Lane is Getting a Little Library!
Visit the bookshelf in the Platt’s Lane laundry room to browse the collection. Take a book and, if you can, leave one behind for someone else to enjoy. Your donations help keep the library stocked for the whole community. Happy reading!
